Bio:
Tannishtha Chatterjee is an Indian actress and director who is known for her work in several Hindi and English independent films. For her performance in the film Dekh Indian Circus, she won the National Film Award – Special Jury Award / Special Mention. Her notable roles include Masha in Academy Award-winning German director Florian Gallenberger's film, Shadows of Time which is also known as Schatten der Zeit in German, the film Bibar for which she won the best actress in 2006 Osian Film Festival and the 2007 BFJA awards. Tannishtha is also a successful recording artist, trained in Indian classical vocals. She is working both with Indian and international directors and lives between her homes in London and Mumbai.
