Shilpa Shukla is an Indian film and theatre actress. Shilpa Shukla, hailing from a family of scholars, political leaders, and bureaucrats, began her acting journey in theatre with Maharaj Krishna Raina. She made her film debut with Khamosh Pani (2003) and gained widespread recognition for her role in Chak De! India (2007), winning the Screen Award for Best Supporting Actress. Shukla's lead performance in B.A. Pass (2012) earned her the Filmfare Critics Award and the Screen Award for Best Actor in a Negative Role. Her filmography includes Frozen (2007), Bhindi Baazaar Inc. (2011), and Hit: The First Case (2022). She has also appeared in popular web series like Mentalhood and Criminal Justice.
