Roshan Seth OBE is a British-Indian actor, writer and theatre director who has worked in the United Kingdom, United States and India. He began his acting career in the early 1960s in the UK, but left acting the following decade and moved to India to work as a journalist.New Delhi native Roshan Seth, trained at London's Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts, began in British repertory theater and films. After a career pause, he returned to India as an editor until starring as Nehru in "Gandhi" (1982). This revitalized his career, leading to roles in "Indiana Jones" (1984) and "A Passage to India" (1984).
