Telugu audience have been deprived of a nice detective Comedy movie since Chiranjeevi's chantabbayi, which released in 1986. ASSA raised our hopes to fill this gap since the teaser itself, but the movie doesn't outperform Chantabbayi in any way but does best in its own style.
