The year 2009 marked the entry of Sallu Bhai with a smashing entry of Wanted during Eid which was the highest grossing movies in the box office. From that day on, there was no turning back for Bhai towards the road of success.

Here are some of Bhai’s movies which were top grossers during Eid:

1.  Wanted 

Wanted is where it all started, Salman’s good times started with this movie. With seeti-marne wala songs, savage punchlines and intense action. Bhai’s movie was a sure entertainer in the box office.

2. Dabangg 

Just like Wanted, Dabangg was an entertainer as well, ranging from Bhai’s sense of humor, funny punchlines, kickass dialogues and a lot of dance numbers. The movie gave us an iconic character after Jai, Veeru, Vijay and Raj, that is Chulbul Pandey.

3. Bodyguard 

Bodyguard showed softer side of a protector which is revealed with a bunch of phone calls by a mystery woman loving him. Little does he know that it's the same girl whom he is protecting in the class. Despite mixed reviews, the movie was a soaring hit at the box office.

4. Ek Tha Tiger 

Ek Tha Tiger bought back both the exes Salman and Katrina together after four years, a spy thriller which was a huge success in the box office only for one and only reason and that is Salman who kept the magic ongoing for many days in the box office.

5. Kick 

Dil Main Aata Hoon, Samajh Mein Nahi? This one dialogue from Kick kept the audience hypnotized in the theatres and the best part about the movie was the songs out of which Bhai sung one of them and still most of the Bhai fans dance to Jumme Ki Raat.

6. Bajrangi Bhaijaan 

Bajrangi Bhaijaan was the first movie where Bhai was not a superstar, he was just an actor in the movie and the Bhai fans were enamoured by seeing the different look of his as a samaritan who goes on a mission to get a mute Pakistani girl back to her home by any means necessary.

7. Sultan 

Sultan is an Indian rip-off of Sylvester Stallone’s Rocky, where Bhai was into wrestling and romancing a fellow wrestler who motivates him to fight back and face his inner demons. The movie was definitely a treat for Bhai Fans and we can never forget his Akhada look ever again.

Despite a good track record, Bhai was toppled last Eid with his previous movie Tubelight failing to meet the expectations. Will Bhai able to set his foothold on the box-office with the help of Race 3.
