Who would’ve thought that this man who was from a middle-class family in Delhi, who shot to fame through TV shows like Fauji and Circus could sooner become a brand in Indian Cinema.

Here are some different phases of this superstar who is filled with enormous energy to impress the audience worldwide.

1. Anti-Hero Phase: Most actors tend to take such risks in the later parts of their career, but for Shah Rukh Khan who was just a few films old, it was an opportunity to get recognized for his acting capabilities.

After Salman rejected the negative lead in Baazigar and Aamir walked out while shooting for Darr, Shah Rukh took both of them and immortalised these characters on screen.

He was then popular for the same when he played a similar role in Anjaam which won him the best actor in a negative role award.

Twelve years later, he was offered by Farhan Akhtar to play the titular character in Don: The Chase Begins Again which was popular among the masses and also contributed the sequel Don 2 five years later.

2. Romantic Hero: Well, he is well known for this genre where he is standing at ease position and extending his arms wide open.

This pose has become a pop culture amongst the masses who have been performing it all their lives.

Signature Pose

This pose is seen in almost every film of the romantic genre he has done so far.

3. Serious and Intense Performances: Most of his films in this category were completely away from his comfort zone and he excelled in different avatars.

Be it a self-destructive alcoholic in Devdas, a troubled NRI in Swades, a determined hockey coach in Chak De India, an avenging soul in Karan Arjun and finally a disabled man on a mission to spread humanity in My Name Is Khan

Serious And Intense Roles

Shah Rukh has proven that he can pull off any kinds of characters given to him.

4. Offbeat Performance: An actor means that he/she can pull off all sorts of roles and this was proven by Shah Rukh Khan in his 25-year-old career.

He played a shy middle-class government employee in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, a curious journalist in Dil Se.., a comical detective in Baadshah and finally a free-thinking psychologist in Dear Zindagi

Offbeat Roles

With these choices of roles, he has managed to attract fan base with the adults of today.

Shah Rukh Khan has been an inspiration for many aspiring actors who are still looking for a break in Bollywood. Even though he has accumulated a lot of wealth with his hard work, he is still grounded and a family man. We want to see more in his upcoming film Zero which will release on Christmas.
