The CID Trio Acting In Bollywood Films

The show has managed to telecast 1546 episodes on the television ever since it debuted in 1998. The show attracted international fame when it entered the Guinness Book Of World Records for shooting an episode for 111 minutes without a single cut.

Owing to the success, the show had launched bravery awards in their name where common people were awarded for their daring spirit in bringing change in the society with their efforts 

It has just come to our attention that after 21 years of making the users addicted to the screens. The show is coming to an end. Well, abruptly but they gave us some memories which most of us cherish even now.

The trio Pradyuman, Abhijeet and Daya had a fair share in Bollywood as well which gave them a chance to showcase their acting talent in various big films.

1. Shivaji Satam: The actor who made ACP Pradyuman, a cult favourite among the Indian audiences with his unique hand gestures and his one-liners which most of the fans use it in common talks. 

The talented actor was once popular in the Marathi Theatre industry and he has acted in various big-budget Bollywood films like Hu Tu Tu, Sooryavansham, Vaastav and Nayak where he was playing supporting roles in them.

2. Aditya Shrivastav: Our very own Senior Inspector Abhijeet who became a household name in the small screen industry had a humble beginning in the film industry. 

He was playing mostly intense characters in iconic films like Dil Se.., Satya and Black Friday where his acting capabilities were appreciated. He entered CID by playing the role of an antagonist in the show and then he came as Senior Inspector Abhijeet who was famous for his quick wit methods of solving crimes. 

He had played a small role in Farhan Akhtar’s Lakshya where he acted alongside Amitabh Bachchan and Hrithik Roshan.

3. Dayanand Shetty: Well, the only man who can be the perfect contender from India’s side for WWE when it comes to breaking bones and doors for which he well-known for. 

He entered the show by reprising the role of Senior Inspector Daya in the show and he has used his iconic dialogue which most of us love, Jab Mera Haath Kisi Pe Padta Hai Toh Uske Daanton Se Piano Bajne Lagta Hai (When I whack somebody, that person’s teeth becomes a piano). 

He was featured in Johnny Gaddar in response to his fame as the character and he reprised his CID role in Ajay Devgn starrer Singham Returns.

It’s sad that they are leaving really quick but they definitely made our day with their presence. Will miss you forever.
