Captain America was definitely Chris Evans's most iconic role in the cinematic universe. Not only did he capture hearts with his acting skills but he did so by making Captain America one of our most favored super heroes of all time.

Here are a few instances on why we love him and his character wayy too much and why we will never stop missing him as a person and as the character that brought to life the comic character of Captain America.

Steve Rogers, even before becoming the human with super powers he was a super human. not once did he let us down before becoming a super hero either. all his fans will hold this to him that he never gave up for the right things and stood his ground. This scene takes us back to the first Captain America movie made by the Marvel Universe. And a very emotional scene at that too.

When Captain America returns to say the same lines he said in the first movie, it hits us right in the feels and it reminds us that Steve Rogers is the same person with or without his powers.

Steve Rogers’ Captain America will always stand against bullies—even if they were once his friends. I hope the next Cap can do the same. We will forever miss this one you guys...

Well, you can’t blame the whole being frozen in ice thing for Steve misunderstanding some basic lessons about the birds and the bees. Fondue hasn’t been the same since 2011. So let's give him some credit here for atleast using the word.

Since Steve was a Capsicle for decades, he missed out on a lot of pop culture. References often fly right over his head, but in The Avengers, he got a nod to The Wizard of Oz. So proud of you, Steve.

Let's never forget about the time where He actually took out the time to make videos to educate students in school because he was that much of an international influence.

I mean, if you have the physique and the voice to order Hulk around… what exactly do you need more in life....

You can find a lot of impressive action sequences in the MCU, but Captain America’s elevator knockout in Winter Soldier stands out among the dozens as maybe the best and most memorable one.

Captain America was born in a different time with different ideas about what is proper. He’s old-fashioned, which is charming as hell when put against Tony Stark’s personality. Steve calling Stark out on his language is the most Cap thing to ever Cap.

Steve had to get used to so much after he thawed and emerged into the modern century. But like he points out in The Winter Soldier, one of the positive changes is the oh so helpful internet.

We will miss you Chris Evans...
