Catch up with all the glitz and glamour at the Filmfare Awards Red Carpet

It is officially award season in Bollywood. Lucky for us, we can root for our favourite actors/actresses. Is it going to be Ranbir Kapoor or Ranveer Singh? Alia Bhatt or Deepika Padukone? The year before undoubtedly saw some of the best roles and actors who did justice to them, and thus the competition is very tense. The Filmfare Awards was hosted recently. Raazi was chosen as the best film, whereas Ranbir Kapoor walked away with the Best Actor (Male) for Sanju. Alia Bhatt was nominated as the Best Actress (Female) for Raazi.

You cannot miss out on Deepika Padukone apologizing to her fans for disappointing them by not winning the award for best actress. Another thing you cannot miss out on is clearly the red carpet. Deepika Padukone made her mark with her black tuxedo dress by ‘Alberta Ferretti’. Alia Bhatt played cool and casual with a black and pink jumpsuit by Indian label, ‘Safiyaa’. However, she soon changed into a much regal black evening gown by ‘Ralph and Russo’. Katrina Kaif picked a sartorial ice gown by ‘Falguni and Shane Peacock’. Honourable mention: Ranveer Singh in Versace. Scroll down to see the picks for the best outfit at the Filmfare Awards 2019.
