The 2019 edition of the Dadasaheb Phalke Awards took place in Mumbai last night. The event celebrated 150 years of the Bollywood industry. Acclaimed as the highest award in cinema, it also felicitates people from different walks of life. The list of attendees for the event included the likes of Kajol, Janhvi Kapoor, Ishaan Khatter, Mouni Roy and more. Even though it has been only a year since the arrival of Janhvi and Ishaan in the industry, they sure stole the spotlights in the show. Their friendship doesn’t fail to give us best friend goals.

For this event, Janhvi picked a red sari by Manish Malhotra and paired it with Amrapali Jewels. While Namrata Soni did her hair and makeup, Tanya Gharvi styled her for the event. Fans couldn’t help but notice the striking similarity between her and her mother Sridevi, especially when she picked this sari. Kajol attended the event in a sari by Shivan and Narresh. She looked like a vision in white in the Sheer Chikan-Mattie Sari with Daisy Skeinwork. Mouni Roy was all smiles as she posed in a black and white sari.
