Review
Movie has nothing new or more to offer than the extensions of scenes from trailer. As a matter of fact you know what is gonna happen throughout the movie. From dialogues, performances , songs actions sequences and VFX, everything is Over-the-top.
First half opens on a fast pace with character introductions, it's a revamp and their are no continuations from the series. As the trailer already revealed , All characters divide into four teams and get into a goofy hunt for a treasure of 50Cr. Every plot point resonates with the original Dhamaal, except the intrigue it had.
By second half, all four teams have been hit by an obstacle and have to restart their hunt. The second half gets more interesting than the first with some good comedy sequences , added the zoo episode. The zoo episode is interesting but the mistakes in VFX and Execution ruins it to some extent.
The new additions to star cast Ajay Devgan , Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit have done a great job , but the writing doesn't make best use of their comedy timings . The original cast Arshad , Javed and Riteish reprise their characters but the lack in content affects their appeal too.
The music is a bit disappointing, nothing resonates beyond the show. The item number of Sonakshi Sinha comes and go , doesn't make a difference. Original Dhamaal or Double Dhamaal had great catchy numbers.
