Oru Adaar Love Movie Review: A High School Love Story With A Wink
Modified On: 14 February 2019 | Reviewed By: Ravi MondetiA wink that changed the story, cast, and the scenario completely.
The movie had a humble beginning with a normal movie schedule. Then “Manikya Malaraya Poovi” the song released in youtube which changed the complete scenario of the movie.
As soon as Priya Prakash Varrier’s wink became a sensation overnight the movie makers had to replan, restrategize and re-shoot the whole movie to make use of the hype around her, so much so that they even recast her as the lead from the supporting role.
Was all this worth it? Was releasing in 5 different languages in 2000 screens worth it. Has it paid off? Only time will tell. A recent video with a lip lock between Priya and Roshan has created a further hype for the movie.

The movie is about a high school love story between Priya Prakash Varrier and Roshan Abdul Rahoof who play their own characters.
Abdul tries to woo Priya continuously but she is in a dilemma whether to go for it or no. Gadha (played by Noorin Shereef) who plays as a Tomboy wants them to be together and tries to set them up.
There are some old clichés which could have been avoided, like walking under an umbrella, strolling in the park unsupervised. You get a feeling where the hell are all the parents and teachers. And why my parents and teachers always there during these situations.
Omar Lulu has succeeded in bringing out the feeling required in a love story. After Happy Wedding and Chunkzz, he has created a hat-trick with this. As the hype around it will push the movie to another level in his career.
The music is soothing with a simple flavor of soft music. No action sequence makes it in sync with the storyline.
Overall the movie is a must watch as being released on Valentine's day makes it extra special.
