Njan Prakashan is a Malayali Drama starring Fahadh Fassil in the lead. The famous director-writer combination Sathyan Anthikad - Sreenivasan comes back on screen after a long time.
The Plot: Prakashan aka PR Aakashan played by Fahadh Faasil, is a Malayali who is irresponsible but aspires to lead a luxurious life without much effort. He is jobless in spite of pursuing nursing. He some how finds a way to earn a living by engaging in fraudulent activities.
His life’s course changes when he learns that his love interest, Salomi played by Nikhita, gets a job in Germany. She happens to be his junior in college. Once he learns that, he will start pleasing her so that even he can travel to Germany.
Prakashan changes his name to PR Aakash as he feels that it will sound modern. What are the challenges that he will face and how she will change his life forms the crux of the story?
The first half of the movie totally portrays his character as PR Aakash. The second half of the movie is all about how PR Aakash changes back to Prakashan.
Faahadh Fassil as Prakashan aka PR Aakashan has done a tremendous job and given full justice to his role. He is versatile. Him playing a role of a typical Malayali gelled well with all the situations in the film. The film also has traits of his previous movie Oru Indian Pranayakatha.
Mollywood gets to see the combination of Sathyan Anthikad, the director of the film and Sreenivasan, writer after 16 years. They have once again proved that they are one of the best director-writer combo who can portray a tale of a Malayali youth who we see in our day to day life.

Songs of the movie are already a hit. Music by Shaan Rahman is very soothing and cinematography by S Kumar is also a treat to watch.
Rest of the actors Sreenivasan, Nikhila Vimal, Devika Sanjay and KPAC Lalitha have all done a good job.
Overall, Njan Prakashan is a very good movie to watch this Christmas weekend. It will surely be a time well spent in the theater to see Fahadh Fassil conquer our heart as a typical Malayali guy next door whom we all hate. Go watch this refreshing movie with your friends and family.
