KGF is a period drama set in the backdrop of 70’s and 80’s. The film is directed by Prashanth Neel and it stars Yash, Srinidhi Ramesh Shetty in the lead roles.
Yash’s acting, Prashant Neel’s direction, and Bhuvan Gowda’s cinematography prove to be a treat for your eyes.
The movie starts with Rocky being born and gold being found in Kolar and the story is being narrated by a journalist played by Anant Nag.
Rocky played by Yash has a goal in his life to die rich which has been implanted by his mother. This lusty goal of him brings on a mission from streets of Bombay to Kolar Gold Fields.
The hype across India has been huge and so are the expectations. The movie delivers for most parts. The movie is fast paced all the way. And the second end leaves the audience eager enough for the second chapter of KGF.
Many dialogues in the movie will give you goosebumps and some action sequences will leave you wanting for more.
The movie has been shown perfectly in an era of 1950s and Bhuvan Gowda’s cinematography supports this in a perfect way.
Yash has carried this movie from beginning to end all on his lone self. His dialogue delivery and action feels so natural.
