The film follows the cat-and-mouse game between a serial killer and a blind man.
Jayaram (Shivrajkumar) is a visually impaired man but skilful and kind-hearted.
The murder of a judge, who is known to Jayaram, takes an unexpected turn when the blind man becomes the suspect.
Rest of the film is about how Jayaram tries to prove his innocence.
Shivrajkumar is in top form, despite being a remake, this might be considered as Shivrajkumar’s one of the best performance.
Other actors like Vasistha Simha, Meenakshi, Isha Koppikar, Ravi Kale and Balaraj also make a mark.
‘Oppam’ the original was an average thriller but it worked on box-office due to Mohanlal’s top-notch performance.
‘Kavacha’ also has unnecessary scenes which lags the pace of the story but Shivrajkumars acting and some commercial elements keeps the interest in moviegoers intact.
