Drona Movie Review: Shivarajkumar starrer film is a message driven which will not dissapoint you.
Modified On: 06 March 2020 | Reviewed By: Saurabh S NairThe film is a Tamil remake of Samuthirakani-starrer, Saattai. And like the Tamil version, this film also has a defect of being too preachy.

Drona, as the title suggests is the story of a teacher.
Guru comes in as a physics teacher in a government school. Upon seeing how the school has a faulty way of functioning and the students need motivation, he takes it upon himself to play Mr. Fixit.
The film is a remake of 2012 Tamil film, Sattai starring Samuthirakani. While the crux of the story is about trying to showcase problems in the system of functioning in government schools, the film in totality is a proper commercial flick with loads of action, emotions, and machismo.
For Shivarajkumar, this is a role written for him. He gets to do the starry bits, but there are also emotional undertones too that work for his audience. Rangayana Raghu gets to play a comical villain that he excels in. The set of youngsters, as the student lot, leave an impression too.
Drona is a commercial fare that is laced with some messages. This one is a treat especially for Shivarajkumar fans as he gets to stand taller than the rest in the film.
