Spider-Man: Far From Home first trailer released

Spider-Man: Far From Home is an upcoming American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character Spider-Man, produced by Columbia Pictures and Marvel Studios, and distributed by Sony Pictures Releasing. It is set to be the sequel to Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017) and the twenty-third film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The film is directed by Jon Watts, written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers.

According to Sony producer Amy Pascal, the plot of Spider-Man: Far From Home is set "minutes after Avengers: Endgame wraps as a story". Marvel boss Kevin Feige also previously confirmed that Far From Home would be about Peter trying to adjust back to life after the events of the two Avengers movies-- Infinity War and End Game.

A direct follow-up to the Sony Pictures/Marvel Studios joint production Spider-Man: Homecoming, Far From Home sees Tom Holland return in the role of Peter Parker, whose superheroic alter-ego Spider-Man is recruited for a special mission by Nick Fury (Samuel L Jackson). In the trailer, we are introduced to a new character called Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal) who is fighting against a group of immortal beings called Elementals. Tower Bridge also appears to be under attack and Peter's classmates are caught up in the chaos, with multiple lightning blazing around them.

Spider-Man: Far From Home is scheduled to be released in the United States on July 5, 2019, in 3D and IMAX.

"Sweet Katherine, so happy you said 'yes'! I'm thrilled to be marrying you. Proud to live boldly in faith with you. Here we go," he captioned an Instagram photo of himself cuddling up to Schwarzenegger, whose engagement ring was very visible.

The news has come just two days after Pratt, 39, helped Schwarzenegger, 29, move from her Santa Monica, California home.

Pratt and Schwarzenegger were first seen together on Father's Day last year when they had a picnic in the park in Santa Barbara. They were later seen on dates around Los Angeles and outings with Jack in tow.

The engagement comes over a year after Pratt announced his separation from Anna Faris in August 2017 after almost nine years of marriage. This was the first relationship for the star since his divorce.

Pratt and Faris settled their divorce last November.
