Ranveer to train with the legend Kapil Dev for his biopic:

Ranveer Singh is ruling the headlines these days as the release of his next Bollywood film Gully Boy nears. The actor has surprised his fans yet again with a different role as a rapper in the Zoya Akhtar’s directorial and he is evidently proud of it. Ranveer is on cloud nine after witnessing the response to his just-released song Apna Time Aayega from the film. Amid all the craziness and buzz around Gully Boy, the actor has also started preparing for his next film 83 which is based on maestro Kapil Dev’s biopic. While it was said that Ranveer will be trained under Balwinder Singh Sandhu, ow the reports suggest that Haryana Hurricane Kapil Dev himself will train Ranveer.

Going by the reports in BollywoodLife, an informer revealed, “Ranveer’s cricket coaching will be with Balwinder Singh Sandhu - also a key member of the 1983 World Cup winning squad. While Sandhu and Ranveer will work rigorously to perfect the game, Ranveer will also train with the legend Kapil Dev! Kapil will coach him to perfect his iconic bowling action and Ranveer will work with him to pick up all his mannerisms on and off the field! We can’t wait to see them together hitting the nets!”

Priya Prakash Varrier’s Bollywood debut Sridevi Bungalow is making headlines even before its release:

Actor Priya Prakash Varrier, popularly known as the ‘wink girl’, is all set to make her Bollywood debut with a film titled Sridevi Bungalow. However, the film landed in trouble soon after the release of its trailer on January 13. Viewers have slammed Sridevi Bungalow on Twitter, calling it ‘disgraceful’ and ‘rubbish’, for allegedly sharing similarities to the life and death of screen icon, Sridevi.

The story of the film revolves around a film star named Sridevi, who meets an unexpected demise. Sridevi Bungalow also stars actor Priyanshu Chatterjee of Tum Bin fame. The poster of the film shows only a pair of legs, dangling on the edge of a bathtub - an image which viewers have found to be similar to how Sridevi died. The late actor was found dead in the bathtub of her Dubai hotel room in early 2018. The official cause of death was declared as an accidental drowning. Some reports suggest that Sridevi’s husband and producer Boney Kapoor has sent a legal notice to the makers of Sridevi Bungalow.

In response to the reports of the makers have received a legal notice from Boney, director Prasanth Mambully told Cinestaan, “We received a legal notice from Mr. Boney Kapoor last week. And we will face it. My film is a suspense thriller. I told him that Sridevi is a common name. My film’s character also happens to be an actress. We will face it (the legal case).”

Ranveer Singh says it is a Legendary Surname:

The actor also revealed how he bragged about her to his friends by sending them a picture with her saying, “Look, whom I am hanging out with.” After the news of Ranveer contemplating adding Padukone to his name went viral, the actor joked about it saying, “Since I have dropped my surname, I need a new one, so why not! It’s a legendary surname.”

 The actor also revealed that he told Deepika to do anything other than looking into the music department. The actor said that he curated the list of songs for months for their Italy wedding. He also revealed that the major change that has he has encountered post marriage is that he is supposed to not miss calls, not stay out of the house till too late and not leave the house without eating.
