'Valmiki' Movie Pre-Teaser: Varun Tej In a Rouge Avatar.

'Valmiki' pre-teaser is out and actor Varun Tej is seen in a rouge avatar, carrying a beard laced with Kohl-eye.

Varun Tej took to Twitter and shared the teaser that sees him in a badass role. He wrote, "Me in #Valmiki like you’ve never seen before! Hope you guys like it".

Valmiki is the remake of the hit Tamil movie Jigarthanda that was written and directed by Karthik Subburaj. The film has Varun Tej reprising the role done by Bobby Simha in Tamil. 

Atharvaa Murali will be seen in the role done by Siddharth in the original. Harish Shankar is directing this remake and Devi Sri Prasad has been roped in to compose the tunes.

Valmiki will be bankrolled by Ram Achanta and Gopi Achanta under their banner.

Mickey J Meyer has been roped in to compose music for this flick with Ayanaka Bose handling the camera. Chota K Prasadill edits the film.

The original film was written and directed by Kartik Subbaraj. The film fetched the National Film Awards for best supporting actor for Bobby Simha and best editing for Vivek Harshan.
