Theertha Subhash Clarifies: Yash's Absence in Salaar, Rumors Addressed

Despite Prashanth Neel's Salaar generating excitement, the question of a crossover with KGF lingered. The singer had initially suggested Yash's cameo in Salaar during a media interaction after winning a singing competition in Kerala.

In her initial statement, Theertha unintentionally mentioned Yash as part of Salaar, fueling speculation about his involvement. However, she later took to social media to retract her statement, explaining that she assumed Yash's presence in Salaar due to her father's mention of the KGF team's involvement in the film. Her parents clarified that she misunderstood as Yash's name was frequently discussed in relation to KGF.

Addressing other speculations, Salaar's producer, Vijay, dismissed rumors of the film being a remake of Prashanth's Ugramm, confirming it to be an entirely original story. Initially slated for a September release, the film's launch was postponed to December 22 due to post-production delays. The decision for the release date was reportedly based on astrology.

Salaar unfolds in the fictional city of Khansaar, witnessing a power shift from father to son. As a coup threatens the family, the son enlists the help of his childhood friend to restore peace in the city.
