Taxiwaala Movie Review: Vijay Deverakonda has had a very good year with back to back hits and he is now back with another film, Taxiwaala. Check out our review right here.

Films taking two genres like horror-comedy, action drama and romantic tragedy have worked wonders in India. These kinds of films have worked marvels in the box office which brings multiple generations together in theatres. Taxiwaala is falling in this category.

Shiva (Vijay Deverakonda) is a jobless graduate who finds no luck in any job he gets and always ends getting rejected frequently. Until one day, he gets a job of a cab driver and he gets to drive a vintage car for it. But this doesn't mean that the dangers are over, it is about to begin. The car happens to be possessing a supernatural element in it and it brings harm to that person who sits in the car but not the driver.

There are some additional elements in the plot which play a very important role in the film. Ranging from the backstory of the car and the history of it. There is a little bit of focus given to another set of the story which depicts the life of Shiva's brother and his sister-in-law.

Vijay Deverakonda tries to experiment himself with a myriad set of characters. Despite having a rustic look on his face, the actor never fails to impress us not even one bit. Debutante Priyanka Jawalkar is just a pretty face in the film and there is not much acting of hers.

The makers have worked really hard after realizing their past mistakes and made sure that the film is appealing to everyone. There are moments in the screenplay which give you mild-jumpscares and heavy laughs in between the film.

Even though the film has some romantic tracks but they are just a big hoot as none of them is as catchy as you have been expecting in the film.

Kudos to the cinematography and the editing of the script is also crisp which doesn't make it very draggy or slow in the duration of the movie.

Overall verdict of the film is that it is a one-time watch to lighten up your boring weekend which offers decent entertainment in theatres and it might collect more in the box office as well.
