Most of the supernatural thrillers are considered to be quite intriguing and engaging with a power-packed premise and thrilling moments to keep you hooked. These kinds of a genre are attached with different themes like devotional or revenge which acts as the heart and the soul of the film. Subrahmanyapuram deals with a similar theme like this.
The plot revolves around Karthik, a temple researcher (Sumanth) who is an atheist but journeys different rural areas of India to research about the temples. He enters the Subrahmanyapuram village which is famous for a centuries-old temple located at the border of the village. There lies a mystery of the temple where many people have committed suicide and the villagers are scared to go inside as well. To help him in this investigation, his love interest (Eesha Rabba) decides to help him in finding the root cause behind this cursed activity in the village which is bringing fear in every villager's life.
The performances of the film seem quite appealing to the audience and Sumanth has played his part very well, this might be his best performance he has given so far. He fits perfectly to his part he is playing in the movie. Eesha Rabba, who plays the female lead in the film is beautiful and smart in her part. She is not the typical heroine you see most of the time, she works hard in impressing the viewers.

Kudos to the production design, who have worked really hard in making sure that the viewers will get to see the cinematic experience in theatres with stunning visuals and aesthetic artworks.
Along with that, the music composition is top notch when it comes to songs and the background music blends perfectly in the narrative. The music might take most of the awards this time at various award functions.
The duration of the film is just perfect and crisp, it is neither short nor too long which will test your patience all the time. The director has taken a very good note about this which will make you have a good time in theatres.
