Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire Unveils Second Single: 'Prathikadalo' Explores the Theme of Forgiveness

On Thursday, the creators of "Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire," starring Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and Shruti Haasan, launched the second single from the film.
The team behind Prashanth Neel's Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire has unveiled the second single from the film, titled "Prathikadalo." Composed by Ravi Basrur, the song features lyrics by Krishna Kanth (KK) and vocals by a large chorus of children.
The lyrical video begins with Easwari Rao's character prompting a student to recall a song she taught them, and soon, the entire class joins in. The visuals shift to Prabhas, portraying a mechanic lost in contemplation and anguish. Shruti Haasan is also seen in the video, visiting Easwari's classroom and grappling with the lessons she has learned. The lyrics convey the theme of forgiveness, emphasizing that victories stem from forgiveness rather than wars.
Titled "Qisson Mein" in Hindi, "Prathikatheya" in Kannada, "Prathikaramo" in Malayalam, and "Pala Kadhaiyill" in Tamil, the song emphasizes the power of forgiveness.

About Salaar:
Directed by Prashanth Neel, "Salaar" is an adaptation of his 2014 film "Ugramm" and follows the story of two childhood friends turned enemies. The film is set to release on December 22 in Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi, facing competition from "Dunki" at the box office.
