This high octane action film also stars Shraddha Kapoor as the lead actress. The film is written and directed by Sujeeth.
The teaser introduces the lead actors romancing and then goes onto show Prabhas doing some power packed stunt sequences. The actor is seen chasing and gunning down villains, leaping from buildings and making his way through fleets of vehicles.
Saaho has a huge ensemble cast and being released in four languages (Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Malayalam) the film has actors from these respective language films such as Hindi actors Chunker Pandey, Mahesh Manjerekar, Jackie Shroff and Neil Nitin Mukesh. Malayalam actor Lal and Tamil actor Arun Vijay (though he is not seen in the teaser).
The teaser ends with a humorous, not as Prabhas tells Shraddha that all the men firing shots at him are his fans.
“Such violent fans?” Shraddha asks.
“They are my die-hard fans,” Prabhas replies.
Shraddha also gets a few sequences to do action with Prabhas. The end action sequence also reminds of Mad Max: Fury Road.
The film is fuelled with VFX though some graphics look tacky.
The teaser laced with tremendous background score done by Ghibran makes the sequences an edge of the seat thriller.
The film is undoubtedly one of the most awaited releases this year as it happens to be Prabhas's first film after the astounding success of the Baahubali franchise. The film will be released on the occasion of Independence Day, 15th August 2019.
