Earlier, the RRR team released the videos of Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem and received a positive response from the audience. Ram Charan's Alluri Sitarama Raju was shown as a police officer with fire as the theme while water is the theme for Jr NTR's Komaram Bheem. Currently, the movie is scheduled for a worldwide release on October 13.

RRR is a multilingual and multi starer movie directed by SS Rajamouli. Alia Bhatt and Olivia Morris are also playing lead roles in the film. The movie is being bankrolled by DVV Entertainments.

The movie is reportedly a fictional story set in the 1920s, in the colonial era. The film is based on the lives of two real-life heroes and well-known revolutionaries — Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem — but is a fictional take on their lives. The movie is currently in the last leg of its shooting. Hollywood action director Nick Powell has been roped in for the climax action sequences.
