'RRR' makers have backed out from the scheduled January release

After much of promotion activities, the ‘RRR’ team has backed out the Jan 07, 2022 release due to the obvious case of the surge in the Omicron cases, which has, in turn, led to theatres getting closed in some cities (only 50% occupancy is being allowed in few other cities).
In addition, there is huge confusion with the new G.O. #35 by the AP Government which seems to be not resolving any time soon.
With all the above issues surrounding the S.S.Rajamouli’s new magnum opus ‘RRR’, starring Jr.NTR and Ram Charan, the makers have backed out from the scheduled January release for a future date, which they are yet to announce.
