Regina Cassandra's Nene Naa is directed by Caarthick Raju, the filmmaker behind Sundeep Kishan’s critically acclaimed production Ninu Veedani Needanu Nene
Akshara Gowda, Ali Khan and Jaya Prakash play other pivotal roles in the thriller bankrolled by Raj Shekar Varma under Apple Tree Studios. While the film’s shoot was wrapped up many months ago, it’s finally gearing up to hit screens this August 18.
The makers confirmed that the multilingual wrapped its censor formalities today. Nene Naa was certified U/A recently and it received praise from the board for its novel treatment. The other actors in the film include Thagabothu Ramesh, Jiva Ravi, Michael, Rachapudi Kaushik, Yogi, Ravi Raja. The trailer of the film was launched nearly two years ago.
A tourist dying under mysterious circumstances in a forest. He’s believed to have been killed by three people. However, at the crime scene, only the footprints of the victim are visible. An archeologist tries to help the cops with the investigation and the backdrop shifts to a different timeline. What connects the archaeologist to the crime? Is there more than what meets the eye?
Sam CS is scoring the music for the film which has cinematography by Gokul Benoy. Sabu Joseph is the editor. Seenu is the art director for the project while the stunts are supervised by Super Subburayan. Ramajogayya Sastry is sole lyricist for the album, whose songs are choreographed
