'Pushpa'effect:Allu Arjun surpasses Vijay Deverakonda and clocks 16M followers on a social media platform

The Liger actor was reportedly is the first South-Indian star to cross 12M followers too. He remained untouchable for the last two years but it looks like the success of Pushpa has catapulted Allu Arjun’s stardom to new heights. Seeing as how not just India but even globally, Pushpa: The Rise is being celebrated, the actor has gained over 10 lakh followers in the last 10 days alone. Vijay Deverakonda now stands at second place with 14.5M followers.

It’s not just Bollywood, even the cricketing world seems to have been bowled over by the songs of Pushpa. Srivalli, Saami Saami and even Oo Antaava Oo Oo Antava are ruling all the major music platforms, including social media. The film was recently out on OTT and it looks like the mass entertainer found a wider audience. Fans now wait for Pushpa: The Rule and music composer Devi Sri Prasad, apart from Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna are currently overwhelmed by the response.

For the sequel, Pushpa: The Rule which is yet to go on-floors, Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, Sunil, Dhanunjay, Anasuya and others will reprise their roles.
