Pushpa pre-release event highlights

While the director and music composer Devi Sri Prasad could not attend the event as they were in Mumbai, completing the film, numerous other directors like SS Rajamouli, Koratala Siva, Venky Kudumula and Buchhi Babu Sana showed up in their place.

Allu Arjun after thanking every technician and artiste who worked for the film stated that Pushpa took the work of four films and not just one. “We want cinema to win, it’s not just about my film. We have many releases coming up, I wish them all the best,” he said, after congratulating the team of Akhanda for their success. Everyone in attendance had nothing but good things to say about him even as fans screamed and tried to storm the stage.

Even as fans screamed out her name, “I love you too nanna,” she said with a flying kiss. Everyone from Venky Kudumula to Allu Arjun spoke of the kind of potential Rashmika has as an actor, hoping she reaches great heights in no time. Talking about Allu Arjun, she said, “When Bunny sir came to one of my audio functions, I remember wishing that I get a chance to work with him some day. Today I’m his Srivalli, he’s my Pushpa Raj. It was really hard to learn Chittoor slang but the film is worth it.” She also repeated her famous dialogue from the trailer and danced to Saami Saami.

Anchor Suma revealed that Allu Arha and Ayaan accompanied their father to the event despite their parents asking them to stay home. Arha seemed like she enjoyed the screaming crowd and Ayaan looked shy. Both of them took the mike to repeat their father’s catch-phrase from the film, “Thaggede le,” before trying to run off-stage. SS Rajamouli called Sukumar his best friend and revealed that the latter was in-fact worried he didn’t have enough time to complete the film but is persevering none-the-less.
