Producer of Prabhas-starrer "Adipurush" Dismisses Reports of IMAX 3D Release, Criticizes Trade Analyst for Misinformation

However, Rajesh Nair, CEO of Retrophile Films and one of the film's producers, refuted these claims and criticized the source for spreading misinformation.

Trade analyst Girish Johar had tweeted that "Adipurush" would not release in 3D in many parts of India. Rajesh Nair responded with a tweet stating, "Girish Bhai, why spreading all this wrong information. #Adipurush is releasing in 3D and 2D worldwide. Please do not spread incorrect news." Johar had also mentioned the film's non-release in IMAX due to the unavailability of screens, but this information was confirmed as true since "Adipurush" does not have any IMAX shows scheduled in major cities.

These rumors led to angry fans criticizing T-Series and Retrophile Films for their alleged poor planning. Some fans demanded a re-release of "Adipurush" on IMAX and 3D screens in India and the USA, calling the film's planning and release date "pathetic."

"Adipurush" is an adaptation of the epic Ramayan and stars Prabhas, Saif Ali Khan, and Kriti Sanon in lead roles. The film is set to release in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam on June 16.
