Nawazuddin Siddiqui to debut in Telugu film industry

The film, set in the fictional port city of Chandraprastha, needed Nawazuddin to bring his vision to life, insists Sailesh. “I was insistent that I wanted Nawazuddin bhai because the character needs a nuanced performance,” he tells Hyderabad Times, adding, “When I narrated the script to him in Mumbai, he was excited to jump on board. What’s more, he is excited to dub for himself in Telugu too! I can’t reveal much about his character because it’ll give away the film’s story.”

The shooting for the film, which will release in all south Indian languages apart from Hindi, will resume soon, he says. “Some very prominent names across industries will be roped in for the project. We will shoot both in India and abroad. I also have a film called Vishwam Bhara in the works, which will be a larger-than-life mythological film apart from an unnamed project,” he says, rounding off.
