Nani's 'Saripodhaa Sanivaaram' to have a lengthy run time

In a recent quirky video shared on social media, the makers confirmed that while they initially planned for the movie to have a runtime of 2 hours and 35 minutes, they've extended it to 2 hours and 50 minutes. The additional 15 minutes were added to include a love story that seamlessly integrates with the film's action-packed sequences. In the video, SJ Suryah humorously says "plus 15 mins," while Nani describes the film as an “action film,” and Priyanka Arul Mohan adds, “With a love story.”

Saripodhaa Sanivaaram has been made with a significant budget of Rs 90 crore, marking it as Nani's most expensive film to date, surpassing even SS Rajamouli's Eega. Nani plays a character with anger management issues who, on his mother's advice, suppresses his anger throughout the week, only releasing it on Saturdays. Priyanka Arul Mohan portrays Charulatha, a cop and Nani's love interest, while SJ Suryah plays the antagonist.

The film is also set to release in Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi, with the title Surya Saturday, making it accessible to a wider audience across different regions.
