The song, composed by S Thaman, features Balakrishna and Rautela in an awkward dance sequence, with critics pointing out the age difference and choreography that has been labeled as obscene. Despite the controversy, Daaku Maharaaj is set to release on January 12, 2025, during Sankranti, with Balakrishna playing a dacoit and Bobby Deol making his Telugu debut as the antagonist. The film is directed by Bobby Kolli.
