Mike Tyson to co-star with Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday in Puri Jagannadh’s Liger

 Vijay took to social media to announce the news, writing, “We promised you Madness!We are just getting started. For the first time on Indian Screens. Joining our mass spectacle - #LIGER. The Baddest Man on the Planet. The God of Boxing. The Legend, the Beast, the Greatest of all Time! IRON MIKE TYSON. (sic)” A poster was also released on the occasion which sees Vijay and Mike.

While the film will see Vijay play an MMA fighter, it remains to be seen what role Mike plays in it and if it’s just a star-studded cameo or a full-fledged role. Filming for Liger is in progress in Goa with 65% of it completed. While there were rumours of the film hitting OTT, the actor denied all speculation, making it clear the film will have a theatrical release. The film will hit screens in 5 languages, including Hindi and Telugu. Ramya Krishnan, Makarand Deshpande and Ronit Roy play key roles in the film.
