'Maharshi' Trailer: Mahesh Babu wants to rule the world.

The trailer of Mahesh Babu’s Maharshi is released. As per the trailer, Mahesh Babu’s character name is Rishi who is a business tycoon who wants to rule the world.

The trailer opens with Rao Ramesh’s character asking Mahesh Babu what he wants to do in life and he replies, “I want to rule the world”.

Then the trailer showcases the past of the protagonist, his college life.

The trailer also makes it clear that Mahesh is afraid of losing and he’d do anything to not lose. Jagapathi Babu plays the antagonist and we get a glimpse of confrontation Mahesh’s character and him in the trailer.

It also teases with some shots of an extremely violent action sequence.

Directed by Vamshi Paidipally, Maharshi also stars Pooja Hegde and Allari Naresh in crucial roles. The film was originally planned to be released on April 25. However, last month, producer Dil Raju in a press conference confirmed that the release has been pushed to May 9.

He revealed the reason for the postponement of the release as post-production work which was taking more time than expected. The film, which has been jointly produced by Dil Raju, Ashwini Dutt and PVP Cinema, has music by Devi Sri Prasad while KU Mohanan has cranked the camera.
