Lakshmi’s NTR release in trouble
As expected, hurdles creeping in for Lakshmi’s NTR ahead of its release.
While the theatrical trailer of Lakshmi’s NTR created a sensation in the Telugu states with its hard-hitting narration and unapologetic human-drama.
The film has created immense controversy among political circles even before its theatrical release on March 22nd.
With exactly ten days for the release, a follower of the ruling Telugu Desam Party (TDP) named Devibabu Chowdary has registered a complaint to the Election Commission of India (EC) to halt the film’s release.
He mentioned that the film showcased the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Nara Chandrababu Naidu in a bad light and it might also influence the voter ahead of the Assembly and Lok Sabha polls on April 11.
After receiving the complaint copy from the concerned individual, the officials of the Central Election Commission transferred the document to the State Election Chief for verification and inquiry.
Only the time will tell what’s in the store for RGV’s film.
