Karan Johar, Anil Thadani secure the theatrical distribution rights for Jr NTR's Devara in North India

Karan Johar, recognized for his strategic investments in various ventures, has adeptly balanced art and commerce throughout his career. Recently, he announced his collaboration with Jr NTR for the forthcoming action-packed saga "Devara: Part 1" via his Instagram handle.

Sharing the poster of Jr NTR from the directorial of Koratala Siva, Karan expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “Mass hurricane of grandeur entertainment is CLOSER THAN EVER BEFORE! Honored & extremely grateful to be a part of - Man of Masses Jr NTR’s #Devara." He proudly unveiled their partnership for the north theatrical distribution rights, identifying it as the next significant cinematic experience in Indian cinema. Notably, Dharma Productions, Karan's company, has previously supported acclaimed projects like "Baahubali: The Beginning," "The Ghazi Attack," "Bucket List," and "2.0."

Janhvi Kapoor, expressing her excitement, reposted Karan's update on her Instagram story, heralding the start of a special journey with her @dharmamovies family. She welcomed Jr NTR's "Devara" in cinemas on October 10, 2024.

The co-producers, Yuvasudha Arts, also shared their enthusiasm about teaming up with dynamic distributors Karan Johar and AA Films for the north India theatrical distribution of "Devara." Anticipating a spectacular release, they disclosed the film's scheduled release date.

"Devara: Part 1" marks Jr NTR's first release of 2024, following the global blockbuster "RRR" (2022). It also serves as Janhvi Kapoor's Telugu debut, with Saif Ali Khan portraying the antagonist. Prakash Raj, Murali Sharma, and Abhimanyu Singh also assume pivotal roles in this action-thriller.
