‘Ghani’ Telugu sports drama with Varun Tej in lead role

‘Ghani’ is an upcoming Telugu sports drama film written and directed by Kiran Korrapati and produced by Renaissance Pictures along with Allu Bobby Company. The film stars Varun Tej playing the title character alongside Saiee Manjrekar, Jagapathi Babu, Upendra, Suniel Shetty, and Naveen Chandra.

Varun Tej will reportedly play the role of a boxer in the film for which he was trained under Tony Jeffries, the former English Boxer who won bronze at the 2008 summer Olympics. Thaman is scoring the music for this film.

Kannada superstar Upendra is playing a key role in this sports flick for which the makers have erected special sets to shoot the boxing episodes.

The filmmakers who have released a video introducing its characters from the world of ‘Ghani’ are reportedly planning to launch its teaser on 15th November, whereas the film is slated for a December 3rd release. The film was shot by George C. Williams and edited by Marthand K. Venkatesh and is being distributed by Varun Tej’s uncle's banner ‘Geetha Arts’.
