Karan Johar will remake Vijay Devarakonda’s yet to be released Dear Comrade in Hindi and details about the project will later be revealed.
Filmmaker Karan Johar on Tuesday announced that he is producing the Hindi remake of Vijay Deverakonda’s upcoming film Dear Comrade. The filmmaker watched the Telugu film in a special screening prior to its release on July 26. The cast and director of Dear Comrade Hindi version yet to be revealed.

After Arjun Reddy, this is Vijay's second film to be remade in Hindi. Kabir Singh starring Shahid Kapoor which is the remake of his film Arjun Reddy became the highest-grossing Hindi film of this year.
Dear Comrade is directed by Bharat Kamma and is produced by Y Naveen, Y Ravi Shankar, and CV Mohan under the banner of Mythri Movie Makers. The songs and background music by Justin Prabhakaran is already gone viral on YouTube.
