Chiranjeevi,RamCharan starrer Acharya set to hit the screens on April 29

Telugu film viewers' lifelong dream of seeing Megastar Chiranjeevi and Mega power star Ram Charan together on the big screen has finally come true with the 'Acharya'.The film has Kajal Aggarwal play Chiranjeevi's love interest, while Pooja Hegde plays the heroine opposite Ram Charan.

Acharya the upcoming Telugu-language action drama film written and directed by Koratala Siva. It is produced by Matinee Entertainment and Konidela Production Company.

Acharya, as per reports, will be about a middle-aged Naxalite-turned-social reformer who launches a fight against the Endowments Department over misappropriation and embezzlement of temple funds and donations.The film was originally planned for a Pan-Indian release but the makers decided to opt for a regional release itself. After a while, the makers again opted for a Pan-Indian release, creating confusion among the fans. Now, the makers have again changed their minds and are portraying Acharya as a regional film.

Ahead of the release of 'Acharya' Ram Charan & his wife hosted 'Langar Seva' at Golden Temple.Upasana Konidela, the wife of Ram Charan, represented him at the 'Langar' as the actor was shooting for director Shankar's upcoming film that has been tentatively titled #RC15.The film is set to hit the screens on April 29.
