Check: Nithiin starrer gets a release date

Check is set to hit the screens on February 19. The check has Nithiin as the male lead, while Priya Prakash Varier and Rakul Preet Singh in the female lead.
Nithiin's upcoming action thriller film, Check is set to hit the screens on February 19. Bankrolled by Bhavya Creations, the film is directed by Chandrasekhar Yeleti. Originally, the makers had plans to release it in 2020 summer. However, the release got delayed owing to the pandemic and the lockdown. Now, after a long wait, the makers have revealed that the film is all set to be released and it has come as a huge treat to the fans.

It was reported earlier that Check will be an edge-of-the-seat thriller set, which will revolve around a prison and its inmates. It is anticipated that Nithiin will be seen as a convict serving his prison term before his capital punishment. The film will narrate how he handles all the complications that happen to him and how he uses the game of chess to accomplish his mission. Rakul Preet Singh will be seen playing as a criminal lawyer, and it also marks the debut of Priya Prakash Varrier in Telugu cinema.
Apart from this, Nithiin has a line up of films in his kitty including Venky Atluri’s Rang De with Keerthy Suresh and the Telugu remake of Bollywood hit Andhadhun by Merlapaka Gandhi with Nabha Natesh and Tamannaah Bhatia. He will also be seen playing the lead role in Power Peta directed by Sriram Raghavan. Nithiin was last seen in Venky Kudumula’s Bheeshma with Rashmika Mandanna.
