Bimbisara: Nandamuri Kalyan Ram announces new film on grandfather NTR's birth anniversary
On the 98th birth anniversary of his grandfather NTR (Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao), Kalyan revealed the title and first-look poster of Bimbisara. Directed by Mallidi Vasisht, Bimbisara is a period film with a time-travel twist.
Nandamuri Kalyan Ram on Friday took to social media to announce his upcoming film, Bimbisara. On the 98th birth anniversary of his grandfather NTR (Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao), Kalyan revealed the title and first-look poster of Bimbisara. Directed by Mallidi Vasisht, Bimbisara is a period film with a time-travel concept.
Nandamuri Kalyan Ram announced his forthcoming film, Bimbisara, with an intriguing first-look poster. A period film, Bimbisara showcases Kalyan Ram as a king and a warrior who is capable of killing several people. Kalyan Ram will be seen in a never-seen-before look in the film.
The first-look poster of Bimbisara shows Kalyan Ram sitting on a pile of dead bodies. Reportedly, Bimbisara is not just a period film. It also involves the time travel concept and is high on VFX (visual effects).
Sharing the title and first-look poster, Kalyan Ram wrote, "In a mythical land lost to history, there lived a barbarian King. This is his tale. Presenting #Bimbisara (sic)."
Catherine Tresa and Samyuktha Menon will be sharing screen space with Kalyan Ram in Bimbisara. The film is produced under the NTR Arts banner. Bimbisara's technical crew includes cinematographer Chota K Naidu music director Chirantan Bhatt, editor Tammiraju and art director Kiran Kumar Manne.
