Antariksham 9000 kmph is an outer space thriller story where the lead pair go on a mission. The film is set in the backdrop of Srihari Kota Space Center which is located in Nellore, Andhra Pradesh.

Antariksham is a one-of-a-kind film which is actually based on a space mission carried out by a bunch of astronauts to retrieve a satellite which gets lost due to a disturbance.

The film opens with the satellite called Mihira being tracked by the space station based outside Andhra Pradesh and all of a sudden the satellite is lost which means that it can collapse the communication systems of the world. Riya (Aditi Rao Hydari) decides to call Dev (Varun Tej), an ex-employee of the space organization who resigned after a personal tragedy. Dev decides to give one more shot after coming to terms with Riya and decides to participate in the mission.

The mission involves a bunch of astronauts heading to space and trying to fix Mihira before its too late. The main core of the film is the space mission which brings an unpredictable pace during the course of the film and makes the audience go curious about it.

Director, Sankalp Reddy, whose previous venture The Ghazi Attack worked marvels at the box office has chosen a brilliant topic. The best part about this film is that he's back with another bang-on story.

Usually, making a film on space involves a lot of hard work and we can actually see it in this flick. The best part about the film is the visual effects which will hypnotise the viewers and they tend to look realistic while being projected on the screen.

Varun plays perfectly his role and Aditi Rao Hydari also blends well in her part as well. Lavanya Tripathi has a very short role in the movie but she puts on a good show during the entire course of the film.

Apart from that, there are certain flaws in the movie but they can be compensated with the power-packed story in the movie. The best part about the film is that finally, Indian Cinema is trying to explore new horizons.

Overall, this film is a must-watch for every sci-fi buff and this might take away more accolades than expected at the award ceremonies.
