The much-anticipated Pushpa 2: The Rule has released its latest song, Peelings, an energetic number featuring Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna. While the visuals and beats have garnered attention, it’s the song’s unique Malayalam hook line—Mallika Rannante Ambukala Kanmuna Thumbukalo—that has fans talking.
Allu Arjun recently shared the English translation of these captivating lines on social media. The poetic verses compare alluring eyes to karma deva's arrows, smiles to the first moon rays, lips to a jasmine bouquet, and desires to honey-seeking beetles. This imaginative imagery has added an extra layer of charm to the track.

Peelings has been released in six languages—Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam, Hindi, and Bengali—with the same hook line. While Devi Sri Prasad’s music and the lyrics by Chandrabose and Siju Thuravoor have been widely appreciated, the choreography has drawn mixed reactions. Some critics have labeled it "vulgar," sparking debates on social media.
With Pushpa 2: The Rule set for a grand release on December 5, 2024, the song has only heightened excitement for Sukumar’s directorial sequel. The film, starring Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil, is among the most awaited blockbusters of the year.
