Viswasam stars Ajith Kumar and Nayanthara in the lead.
Plot: Ajith who plays Thookku Durai is a local village thug who settles disputes in his village, but not able to settle his own marriage as his wife has left him for a better life.
The story begins as a young Thooku Durai who has his own rules for the way he leads his life. Everyone listens to him and respects him.
Once a doctor named Niranjana (Played by Nayanthara) visits his village and Thooku Durai immediately falls in love with her. As the romance blossoms between them even though they are of different characters they get married.
Even after the birth of their daughter he does not stop in settling disputes of others in the village. This leads to differences among them and she moves back to Mumbai to lead a better life away from him.
After 10 years he decides to set things straight with her and he moves to Mumbai in search of her.
As he reaches Mumbai, he gets to know that his daughter’s life is in danger from the villain Gautham Veer (played by Jagapathi Babu). How he saves his daughter’s life from this wicked business tycoon forms the crux of the story.
The director Siva has given the fans what they want to watch on screen. Both youngsters and family audiences will have there moments to enjoy.

The story seems very predictable. Dialogues are massy which suits Ajith and narration is well placed and well-paced.
Music by D. Imman is soothing and cinematography by Vetri is apt for scenario in the background with no special effects used as such.
Overall Verdict: With not many negatives the movie is a must watch at least once. Ajith fans will have treat as a whole.
