'Leo,' directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and starring Vijay, is generating a lot of anticipation as it prepares for its worldwide release on October 19. The action thriller will be available in multiple languages, including Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada.
The film has already garnered attention even before its release, breaking pre-sales records in the US and UK. Advance ticket booking for 'Leo' is set to begin in Tamil Nadu on October 15.
Notably, the film has received a 15+ age rating in the UK, with distributors emphasizing that it is intensely raw and violent. They've opted for this rating to stay true to the film's intent, and they've decided to make a 2-minute 40-second cut to remove close-up shots of gory violence. The CBFC in India has given the film a U/A rating, but in the UK, it's rated for audiences above the age of 15. The distributors have assured that these edits won't affect the core story or the flow of the film, and the changes are mainly related to graphic violence shots.
Given the excitement and early interest in 'Leo,' it appears that this film will be a significant release in the coming weeks. Fans of action thrillers and Vijay's work will likely be looking forward to its release.
