"Leo" marks the second collaboration between Lokesh Kanagaraj and Vijay, following the success of their previous film "Master."
Recent reports have indicated that Vijay's film "Leo" underwent multiple alterations and edits by the CBFC (Central Board of Film Certification). The song "Naa Ready," which received criticism upon its release, saw the most significant changes, with the censor board requesting modifications to specific lyrics. Nevertheless, Vijay's fans in the UK need not be concerned, as the film's distributor there has assured on Twitter that "Leo" will be released without any cuts or alterations.
Ahimsa Entertainment, the UK distributor for the film, posted a tweet stating, "In deference to Lokesh Kanagaraj's artistic vision, we are committing to releasing #LEO in the UK without any cuts. Every frame is crucial, and audiences deserve to experience it in its unaltered form. Once the film has reached a wider audience, we will introduce a version suitable for a 12A rating (sic)."

The film's music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
Following "Leo," Vijay is set to collaborate with Venkat Prabhu, while Lokesh Kanagaraj is working on directing Rajinikanth in "Thalaivar 171."
