Vijay Antony's 'Kolai' is set to release on July 21

Vijay Antony will be seen sporting a salt and pepper look, portraying a private detective in search of clues related to the murder of model Leila, played by Meenakshi Chaudhary. Ritika Singh plays the role of a police officer named Sandhya, assisting him in the investigation.

Produced by Inifiniti & Lotus Productions, "Kolai" is said to be inspired by a real-life incident that occurred in New York City in 1923. The film is touted to be a murder mystery, drawing similarities to the Hollywood crime thriller "Knives Out." Apart from Vijay Antony, Ritika Singh, and Meenakshi Chaudhary, the movie also features Raadhika Sarathkumar, Murali Sharma, Arjun Chidambaram, and others in supporting roles.

Girish Gopalakrishnan is composing the music for the film, while Sivakumar Vijayan takes charge of cinematography. Fans can anticipate an engaging and suspenseful crime thriller when "Kolai" hits the screens in July 2023.
