Vetri Maaran makes a surprise addition to 'Viduthalai Part 1'

The latest report indicates that Vetri Maaran has filmed an additional scene for 'Viduthalai Part 1', which will be included in the main version of the film. This decision comes as the film is planned to be showcased in several awards and film festivals. The added scene will also be included in the film's OTT version, which is already an extended version of the theatrical copy.

Meanwhile, the shooting for 'Viduthalai Part 2' is taking place in the forest region of Dindigul. The filming for the sequel is expected to be completed in a month or two. As the director intends to make the sequel even grander than the first part, the release of 'Viduthalai Part 2' might be pushed to early 2024.

'Viduthalai' boasts an impressive cast, including Bhavani Sre, Gautham Menon, Chethan, Rajiv Menon, Ilavarasu, Balaji Sakthivel, Tamizh, Munnar Ramesh, among others. The film's music, composed by Ilaiyaraaja, who also scored the music for the first part, will be retained for the sequel.

'Viduthalai' draws inspiration from the novel 'Thunaivan' written by Jeyamohan.
