U-Turn Movie Review: A Perfect Whodunit To Watch This Weekend
U-Turn is a suspense thriller starring Samantha, Aadhi Pinshetty and Rahul Ravindran in pivotal roles. The film is the remake of a Kannada film of the same name, the remake releases today.
U-Turn is a Kannada film directed by Pawan Kumar, the film revolved around the mysterious deaths of accidents happening at the flyover in Bangalore. The film was critically praised and was a box-office hit at the same time. The remake rights were taken by the same director and made a bilingual of it by featuring Samantha in the lead.
The film deals with a young intern Rachna (Samantha Akkineni) who gets a piece of news about the deaths of various accidents happening at a particular flyover in Chennai (Hyderabad in Telugu), she decides to investigate it to get a piece of news on it.
Along with Rachna, her colleague Aditya (Rahul Ravichandran), a crime reporter and a police officer Nayak (Aadhi Pinshetty) also comes on board their mission when every senior officer in the police officer refuses to take up the case. As the trio digs deep into the curious case of the killer flyover, they discover that there is more than what meets the eye when they find something unusual which they had never seen it coming in their entire lives.
The film will compel you to watch it and the story is so intriguing that you should finish your loo breaks before the film starts and leaving for loo breaks during the film will be quite wasteful.
